Implementation Stage

Most problems in the schema and the requirements were identified during the implementation stage, something which proves the critics of the Waterfall Method that it is impossible to model all the requirements and the schemas without first performing a basic implementation to verify that the decisions made during the analysis and design stages can be integrated into the system.

Additionally issues directly related to the installation and configuration of all the software packages caused many delays, which had a result of not producing the deliverables required on time. The system is very complex and could easily involve a number of developers working full-time for weeks to complete.

The implementation had to change in order to reflect the corrections and additions made when problems faced during this stage caused me to return to mainly the analysis and design stage to accommodate a different solution to problems faced. The implementation chapter of this report provides information about some of these problems.
