Testing StageSubmitted by Pavlos Skoufis on Tue, 2006-09-26 18:08.
Testing by developing an application and executing it in order to identify flaws in the system could not be performed, as the management application is a prime prototype to prove the concept. However, this stage involved testing each aspect of every script developed against the functionality identified during the analysis and design stage. The scripts developed involve functionality to validate user input and insert or update records in the MySQL database and the OpenLDAP server. Sometimes problems identified during testing lead to changes in all previous stages of the method used to develop the proposed system and not necessarily the implementation stage only, which is the one prior to testing. |
