LDAP Directory Technology Review

The implementation stage started by installing the OpenLDAP Directory Server and adapting the configuration file to reflect the company details. Based on the Requirements and the Analysis diagrams the schema for the MySQL Database of the ordering system was loaded and some sample product records were inserted into the database.

The implementation stage of the project revealed several design problems which required changes on the schema and the requirements analysis of each sub-system, and resulted in altering the design multiple times, thus giving feedback back to the requirements and analysis stages.
