System Analysis and Design

This stage of the development method used involves mapping all the requirements into entities, attributes and relationships. Because of the complexity of the system and the number of different technologies involved, the time constraints did not allow the full design to be implemented and as such only minimal features were implemented.

This section walks through the OpenLDAP schema design, the Directory Information Tree (DIT) design and the data flow and entity relationship diagrams of the sub-systems produced.

The system analysis and design stage is a part of the Waterfall Method of developing Information Systems.
